Tending something living, on a daily rhythm, is a form of therapy in itself — and microgreens reward that attention fast. Where a garden takes a season, a tray of microgreens takes days, so the person doing the growing sees progress almost immediately.
Kits are funded by the microgreens themselves: veterans who want to can sell what they grow, turning a therapeutic habit into a small source of income.
